Watch Gretta Ray cover Ryan Beatty live in session for Best Fit
Australian singer/songwriter Gretta Ray performs a cover of Ryan Beatty's "White Teeth" live in session exclusively for Best Fit in collaboration with Crouch End Studios.
Speaking about the cover choice, Gretta Ray tells Best Fit that she's been listening to "Ryan Beatty’s album Calico repeatedly for months." She continues: "I've been such a fan of Ethan Gruska’s production for years, so hearing Ryan and Ethan’s worlds collide on this record is a total dream come true. I could have picked any song from the album to cover, as I truly love all of them equally, but I think "White Teeth" is an undeniable favourite amongst us all. I loved getting to sing this, and it’s always a joy to perform with Gab Strum too. Thank you for having us!"
The live session follows on from Ray's August album Positive Spin. At the start of December, Ray announced an upcoming London headline show, which will take place at Lafayette on 13 May 2024. Visit grettaray.com for tickets.
