The Weeknd's "Save Your Tears" wins 2021 IFPI Global Digital Single Award
The International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI) has announced The Weeknd's "Save Your Tears" as the winner of the 2021 Global Digital Single Award, making him the first artist to win the same award two years in a row.
The Weeknd's After Hours single "Save Your Tears" has won the IFPI's Global Digital Single Award for 2021, after The Weeknd picked up the same award in 2020 for "Blinding Lights". He is now the first artist to win the award two years in a row.
"Stay" by The Kid LAROI and Justin Bieber placed second, and Dua Lipa's "Levitating", BTS' "Butter", Olivia Rodrigo's "drivers license", Bieber, Giveon and Daniel Caesar's "Peaches" and more were also named in the top 10.

Last week BTS were announced as winners of the 2021 IFPI Global Recording Artist of the Year Award.
In April last year, Ariana Grande featured on a remix of "Save Your Tears".
