The Cure announce first major North American tour in seven years
The Cure have announced 27 new shows across North America for next summer.
On the band's website, they describe it as "their first major tour of the continent since 2008". They've played numerous festivals and one-offs, but this marks the first lengthy trek that the group will embark upon in over seven years.
Robert Smith & Co. will tour 22 cities across May and June 2016, with The Twilight Sad as special guests. The Cure promise to "explore 37 years of Cure songs, mixing hits, rarities, favourites and as yet unreleased tracks in a brand new stage production."
