A short story by Vampire Weekend's Ezra Koenig has been discovered from his time at Columbia University.
It's pretty good, actually, and despite the gumpf in his bio - "Ezra Koenig is a senior English and Creative Writing major. He enjoys writing short prose pieces and pop songs, especially about post-hippie domesticity and the tenuous connection between preppiness and colonialism." - the five paragraph mini-fiction is well written. It's short, but sweet.
Responding to Pitchfork posting the article, Koenig was equally brief.
