Miley Cyrus covers Bikini Kill, Nine Inch Nails and more during Super Bowl pre-game show
Over the weekend Miley Cyrus performed covers of tracks by Bikini Kill, Nine Inch Nails and more during the TikTok Tailgate Super Bowl pre-game show.
Yesterday (7 February), Cyrus kicked off the TikTok Tailgate Super Bowl pre-game show, and performed a series of covers, old hits and a selection of tracks from her recent album Plastic Hearts.
The show, which took place at Tampa's Raymond James Stadium, had 7,500 vaccinated health care workers in attendance, and saw Cyrus bring out Billy Idol for their Plastic Hearts collaboration "Night Crawling" and a performance of Idol's "White Wedding". Cyrus was later joined on stage by Joan Jett for a performance of "Bad Karma" and Jett's own "Bad Reputation" and I Hate Myself for Loving You" songs.
After performing with Jett, Cyrus covered Bikini Kill's "Rebel Girl", and dedicated the cover to "rebel girls who don't take no for an answer".

Cyrus also performed the original version of Nine Inch Nails' "Head Like a Hole" after teasing it last week. She previously covered the song as Ashley O for season five of Black Mirror in 2019, but reworked the original to make a more lighthearted version called "On A Roll".
During the Super Bowl pre-game show, Cyrus also covered Toni Basil's "Mickey", as well as covers of "Jolene" and "Heart Of Glass".
