Matty Healy teases potential collaboration with Charli XCX
The 1975's Matty Healy has revealed that he's been working with Charli XCX on a new song.
During a series of tweets on Saturday (10 August), The 1975 vocalist Matty Healy shared details of a new song he's working on with Charli XCX.
Before correcting his spelling on Charki XCX's name, Healy wrote, "Charlie XCX is a fucking force. She wrote Pop 2 IN A WEEK and when she told me that I was a bit like ‘....erm yeah cool sure’."

Healy went on to reveal, "Sent her a beat at like 5pm yesterday and woke up this morning to a HIT. A MONSTER TUNE!! I’m prolific but she’s on some shit."

Fans were quick to ask if Healy was featured on the track, to which he replied, "Not sure yet but me and Rome and George produced."

Charli XCX is releasing her new album Charli next month. It'll feature collaborations with Chrstine and the Queens, Sky Ferreira, Troye Sivan, Haim, and more.
The 1975 are also preparing to release the first single "People" from their next album Notes On A Conditional Form.
Last month they revealed "The 1975", which features an essay from climate change activist Greta Thunberg.
