Kanye West's new album The Life Of Pablo is being pirated at an astonishing rate
Kanye West's seventh studio record The Life Of Pablo is already one of the most pirated music releases in history, according to Torrent Freak.
The copyright/filesharing news outlet writes that "after the first day an estimated 500,000 people have already grabbed a copy" and "close to 10,000 people were sharing a copy of the most popular torrent simultaneously, something we haven’t seen with a music release before."
Speaking to the BBC, Torrent Freak's Ernesto says that although they don't closely follow music releases, the level of activity is hard to avoid: "I haven't seen numbers this high before for a music release - not with Adele either."
This latest development in Kanye West's epic The Life Of Pablo tale is likely to a cause for concern in camp Ye, what with his self-described "53 million dollars in personal debt", and declaration that the album will "never be on sale".
You can listen to the album now on Tidal.
