Charli XCX's CRASH is the biggest vinyl album of 2022 so far by a female solo artist
Charli XCX's March album CRASH is the best-selling album on vinyl in the UK by a female solo artist in 2022 so far, and has ranked number 19 overall in the Top 40 best-selling vinyl albums of 2022.
Earlier today (14 July) the Official Charts Company shared the Top 40 best-selling vinyl albums of 2022 so far list, and while Harry Styles' Harry's House, Liam Gallagher's C'mon You Know, Wet Leg's self-titled debut, Fontaines DC's Skinty Fia and Yard Act's The Overload made the top five, Charli XCX's CRASH made the list.
While Charli XCX's album was listed at number 19 overall, it makes CRASH the best-selling album on vinyl by a female solo artist in 2022 so far.
Other female solo artist albums that made the liist include Amy Winehouse's Back To Black (at number 22), and Sigrid's How To Let Go (at number 40).

The Official Charts Company also unveiled the Top 40 biggest cassette albums of 2022 so far, which featured Harry's House, Florence + the Machine's Dance Fever, Central Cee's 23, Machine Gun Kelly's Mainstream Sellout and Avril Lavigne's Love Sux in the top five.
