Charli XCX previews forthcoming album with lead single, "Von Dutch"
Charli XCX has released "Von dutch" as the first single taken from her highly anticipated forthcoming new album, BRAT.
The accompanying video, directed by Torso, was shot at Paris’ Charles de Gaulle airport and features Schwarzkopf as the official hair partner. The track, which features on Charli’s impending sixth studio album, BRAT, which is the eagerly awaited follow up to 2022’s, CRASH.
Last week saw Charli throw a momentous Boiler Room in New York’s Brooklyn to launch her new campaign with A. G. Cook, George Daniel, EASYFUN and Doss. The show broke the record for the most ever RSVPs to a Boiler Room event, with over 40k people registering to attend, featuring special guest appearances from the likes of Addison Rae and Julia Fox.
The 15-song new album clocks in at 41 minutes and 23 seconds, and it drops in the summer, as Charli shared via her socials. She also wrote, “i was born to make dance music.. i came from the clubs.. xcx6 is the album i’ve always wanted to make.”
BRAT is set for release in the summer, and is available to pre-order now.
