Charli XCX is reportedly a co-composer for Bottoms film score
Two film reviews of Bottoms at SXSW have reported that Charli XCX has co-composed the film score.
Over the weekend Bottoms, a film directed by Emma Seligman that follows "two unpopular queer high school students" that "start a fight club to have sex before graduation," premiered at SXSW, and two reviews by Film Music Reporter and Geek Vibes Nation claim that Charli XCX is involved with the original score.
Film Music Reporter states that the Bottoms score is co-composed by Leo Birenberg (Cobra Kai, Weird: The Al Yankovic Story) and Charli XCX, while Geek Vibes Nation writes that the film has an electronic score co-written by the Crash artist.
Last month Charli XCX revealed that she's signed a new recording contract for two albums. She's also recently been in the studio with Robyn and producer Patrik Berger.
In November last year it was reported that Charli XCX will executive produce a new comedy from Benito Skinner titled Overcompensating.
