Charli XCX drops trap infused track "5 In The Morning"
"5 In The Morning" fuses Charli XCX's signature contagious pop with a trap beat, as she drops her new track without any notice.
Now the dust has settled since her collaboration with Rita Ora, Cardi B and Bebe Rexha, Charli XCX is in the fast line with more material to come.
"5 In The Morning" sees her find a slightly new avenue of sound. The trap heavy beat shines with great production, and also presents a more dramatic, and atmospheric side to her music.
Even lyrically it's different, and sees Charli XCX use more autotune to take on more of a "ballin'" persona.
Taking to Twitter, the British pop star is gearing fans up for a busy year of releases.
i am going to release a lot music this year. and a lot of videos. you’re gonna be so fucking sick of me.

The track could be fitting for most American rappers, but presents an interesting and unique project that is undeniably infectious.
