Billie Eilish to host climate event at London's O2 Arena next month
It's been revealed that Billie Eilish will host a climate-focused takeover at London's O2 Arena next month called Overheated, which will take place amid her Happier Than Ever shows at the venue.
The climate event will open on 10 June with Overheated Live, a panel that will be introduced by Eilish and her brother Finneas. The panel will be hosted by TV and radio presenter Abbie McCarthy, and will feature contributions from Eilish's mother Maggie Baird, climate activists Jack Harries, Tori Tsui, Vanessa Nakate and more.
Overheated will see a variety of climate activists, musicians and designers discuss the climate crisis and the steps they're taking to "make a difference". According to the Overheated site, there will be sessions on topics including "green practices in the music industry, the beneffits of a plant-based diet, the methods of sustainable fashion, and the actions taken to mitigate climate change."
On top of the discussions and performances from Sigrid and Love Ssega, attendees will be able to watch a short documentary at the O2's Cineworld which will feature Eilish and Finneas, girl in red, Dame Vivienne Westwood, Emily Eavis, Yungblud and more.
The climate-focused event, which will take place amid Eilish's Happier Than Ever shows at the venue next month, will also host a clothes swap called Citizen-T Playground. Check out the event poster below.
