Billie Eilish previews forthcoming album during surprise Coachella DJ set
Last week, Billie Eilish announced her third studio album, HIT ME HARD AND SOFT. During her surprise DJ set at Coachella over the weekend, she previewed some of the tracks.
HIT ME HARD AND SOFT comes after 2021's Happier Than Ever, which followed the success of her 2019 debut, WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO?. Alongside the album's announcement, Eilish revealed that she would not be releasing any singles, as she wants fans to hear it all at once.
Keeping herself busy during the first weekend of Coachella, she joined Friday night headliner Lana Del Rey during her to perform a duet on “Ocean Eyes” and “Video Games". The following day, Eilish did a surprise DJ set on The Do LaB stage, where she previewed a handful of new songs including “Lunch,” “L’Amour De Ma Vie,” and “Chihiro". Elsewhere on the weekend, Anderson. Paak and SOFI TUKKER played surprise sets on the same stage.
