Amy Adams recalls doing karaoke with Taylor Swift: "I should have sat down and just let Taylor sing"
In a recent interview with Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show, Amy Adams recalled the time where she crashed Taylor Swift's song at karaoke.
Amy Adams spoke of recently becoming a 'Swiftie' after going to see The Eras Tour. Jimmy Fallon then asked if she has had any opportunity to meet Taylor Swift, over the years, and she then recalled the time that they sang karaoke together at an awards show afterparty. The pair duetted on the 1993 track, "What's Up", by 4 Non Blondes. "I may have sung it a little loud, and I’m sure everybody was like, ‘Amy, shut up! Like, we want to hear Taylor sing.’ I was just in it," Adams explained, adding that she now realises, "I should have sat down and just let Taylor sing".
“I had a blast. Now, in reflection, if I were to do it now I’d be so different I would like to think… I sang really loud over Taylor Swift, and probably not great, either,” she continued.
Amy Adams' forthcoming film, Nightbitch, is set for release on 6 December.
